      Supported platforms

      You can use Capptions on many different devices, such as:

      • Smartphone
      • Tablet / iPad
      • Computer (laptop and desktop)

      The Capptions apps are available for Android and iOS devices. We officially support the following Mobile Operating Systems:

      • iOS 11.0 and higher
      • Android 7.0 and higher

      N.B.: The apps work on older versions too, but we're not fixing bugs happening on OS versions earlier than mentioned above.

      It is possible to use Capptions on a non Android or iOS mobile device via the web browser. It works similar like using Capptions on your computer. We officially support the following browsers:

      • Google Chrome (previous and current version)
      • Safari (previous and current version)
      • Internet Explorer (previous and current version)
      • Firefox (previous and current version)
      • Microsoft Edge (previous and current version)
