How to add notes to tasks

This article will show you how to create notes for your tasks

Before we get started 

Take note 

  • Notes can be added from the mobile app and web app 
  • The note will still be visible when the task is in draft mode 
  • The note will only be visible up until the form is submitted. 
  • Once the form is submitted, notes will not be visible in the results overview or printed in the final PDF report. 

Add notes to tasks on the Webapp 

Step 1: Sign in to the Capptions Direct web portal

Sign in to your Capptions Direct account using the link

Step 2: Select an organization 

Click on the drop-down arrow in the top left-hand corner of the screen and select an organization. 

Step 3:  Click Actions

Step 4: Click My Tasks 

If you do not have an open task, you can create one by starting a new workflow.

Step 5: Click Complete Task 

Step 6: Scroll to the bottom of the form 

Step 7: Add notes 

Step 8: Save notes 

Add notes to tasks on the Mobile app 

Step 1: Sign in to the Capptions Direct mobile app

Step 2: Select an organization 

2.1 From the home screen, click on Organization to view a list of organizations you are part of

2.2 Select your organization 

Step 3: Click workflows 

Step 4: Click on a workflow 

4.1 Click start workflow 

4.2 Confirm start of the workflow 

Step 5: Click on task details on the top left corner

Step 6 Add note
