This article will show you how to change the order of sections and field
Take note
- Fields can be moved within form sections and from one form section to another by dragging and dropping. Moving fields and sections can only be done within 1 form template.
- You cannot move a form section by dragging and dropping it. you must use the
icon to move it in the intended direction.
Changing the order of sections and fields
Step 1: Sign in to the Capptions Direct web portal
Sign in to your Capptions Direct account using the link
Step 2: Select an organization
Click on the drop-down arrow in the top left-hand corner and select the organization you would like to clone a form from.
Step 3: Click on Templates
Step 4: Select the form
Step 5: Select the Section or Field that you want to move
Step 6: Click the to move it to the desired place
6.1 Drag and drop the field within the desired section or to another section
Select the field you would like to move. Press down on the left-hand side of the mouse and simultaneously drag it to the desired position and drop it.
Step 7: Click Publish when complete
When complete you can test the form template by clicking on the Preview button. Click Publish on the top right-hand corner to publish the template. You can also return back to it at a later stage if not yet ready to publish.
