How to Delete a form

Why delete a form?

Whether you've unintentionally created a form in your organization or you have a form that is no longer in use and wish to tidy up your workspace, you can easily delete the form with just a few steps.

Before we get started

Take note

  • You can only delete a form if you have the role responsibility of being an "owner" or "admin" of the organization you are building a form for or on your own acoount called the Personal Sandbox.
  • You can only delete a form via the web portal.
  • Deleting a form is permanent and cannot be reversed.
  • Deleting a form does not mean you cannot complete workflows with the deleted form anymore. However, the form is deleted and cannot be edited or changed anymore.

Delete a form

 

Step 1: Sign in to the Capptions Direct web portal

Sign in to your Capptions Direct account using the link

Step 2: Select an organization

Click on the drop-down arrow in the top left-hand corner and select the organization you would like to create a form for. 

Step 3: Click on Templates

You will immediately land on the form template listing page.

Step 4: Click on the Edit menu (3 Dots) on the right side of the form

Navigate to your form and click on the kebab menu (3 Dots) on the right side of the form to reveal three more actions for your form.

Step 5: Click on the Delete icon

Step 6: Click on the Delete form button

Click on the Delete form button to permanently delete your form.
