This article will show you how you can create organizations on Capptions Direct
Before we get started
What is an organization?
An organization on Capptions Direct is an environment where you can create forms, reports, and workflows as well as perform inspections. It is where you can manage your teams by assigning roles and tasks to complete and keep track of their activity. An organization can therefore be viewed in many ways depending on the internal structure of the organization you work for.
In order to create an organization, you must have a Capptions Direct account. Click here to sign-up.
Step 1: Click on the Organization tab
Once you have signed up or logged in, you will land on the Activity Overview page. Click on the Organization tab, which you can find in the top left-hand corner of the screen.
Step 2: Click the drop-down arrow next to Personal Sandbox
Your Personal Sandbox is a part of your organization. However, it is your own personal environment where you can test out the creation of forms, reports, and workflows. Click on the drop-down arrow to expand the tab
Step 3: Click on New Organization
The expanded overview will show a list of organizations that you have created and/ or have access to as a member or an admin. Click on New Organization to create a new organization.
Step 4: Type in the Organization name
Describe your organization's name. Remember, you can create multiple organizations under your account. Every organization is a separate environment where you can manage templates, workflows, reports, and dashboards. An organization can therefore be used for a separate company and/or project that you work for.
You do have the option to add your team members during this step, or you can decide to add users at a later stage.
Step 5: Click Submit to create the Organization
Once you have created your organization, you can move on to the next step of adding admins to your organization who will be responsible for building forms, reports, and workflows and members who are responsible for performing inspections and /or completing tasks(s).
