How to clone a form

Before we get Started 

Take note 

  • You can only clone a form if you are an "owner" or "admin" of the organization you are creating a form for or on your own Personal Sandbox. 
  • You can only clone a form via the web portal and within an organization.

Clone a form 

Step 1: Sign in to the Capptions Direct web portal

Sign in to your Capptions Direct account using the link

Step 2: Select an organization 

Click on the drop-down arrow in the top left-hand corner and select the organization you would like to clone a form from. 

Step 3: Click on Templates 

Step 4: Click  Screenshot 2023-05-03 at 11-05-15located on the left-hand side of the form you want to clone 

Step 5: Click Clone

Step 6: Edit the form 

The form, when cloned, will display the number of clones the form has e.g.: copy (1). Edit the name of the form by clicking the Screenshot 2023-05-03 at 11.10.40 icon. 

Step 7: Click Publish  to publish the form 

Click Publish on the top right-hand corner to publish the template. You can also return back to it at a later stage if not yet ready to publish or click on the Preview button to test it first.
