Why add Release notes

Release notes offer a thorough overview of the changes or updates implemented in the most recent version of the bundle. By reviewing release notes, users can gain insight into what updates to anticipate in the new release. This empowers users to make well-informed decisions regarding whether or not to upgrade.  

Before we get started

Take note: 

  • You need to be a partner 
  • You need to have a bundle published 
  • You need to be the Admin or an Owner of the organization 

Add Release Notes

Step 1: Sign in to the Capptions Direct web portal

Sign in to your Capptions Direct account using the link

Step 2: Select an organization 

Click on the drop-down arrow in the top left-hand corner and select your organization.

Step 3: Click on Templates 

Step 4: Click on Bundles

Step 5: Click on Release Notes 

Step 6: Click on the drop-down arrow

Along the far right, click on the drop-down arrow to expand the view of release notes.

Step 7: Add release  Notes 

Automatic release notes

Below the updated section, you will find system-generated release notes that highlight the version upgrades for the templates.

Manual Notes 

Manual release notes can also be created in the text box. Here you may specify the changes or updates you have made to the bundle 

Step 8: Save release notes 

When a manual update has been created, click the Update button. 

Step 9: Publish bundle 

On the top right corner, click Publish bundle
